Title

Screen and Shipwrecks: Bridging the Divide

Description

The use of visual media is an aspect of record keeping and a necessary component of outreach and community engagement in maritime archaeology. Recent technological innovations have created the need to acknowledge multiple available methods of transmitting information to the public. Cross-disciplinary education in screen and archaeology provides students with an innovative means to enhance archaeological knowledge at the tertiary level and the skills to better inform the public through the use of digital media and practice.
